Hi maybeyes,
The time it takes for MOBY DUR to harden enough for you to get the concrete out of the mould depends on the boundary conditions. The ambient temperature is the most important boundary condition. But the amount of water used also plays a role, and as you yourself have observed, it can take longer if pigments are involved. It also depends on the shape of the workpiece. A kitchen worktop with a large recess for the hob would be left in the mould longer because it can break more easily than a worktop without a recess. It is therefore impossible to give a more precise time than 12 to 24 hours. Sometimes, however, it makes sense to demould the workpiece only after two days. Before demoulding, you should score the back of the plate with a spatula and check how thick the concrete already is. When the concrete is about as hard as marble, it can be removed from the mould.
Slabs of concrete can warp if they are too thin and if they can dry out faster on one side than on the other sides during setting and hardening. This phenomenon is called cupping and there are already many posts about it here in the forum. To avoid cupping, a tabletop should not be less than 4 cm thick and should be carefully covered with foil after casting. For thinner tabletops, you can use the non-shrink TURBO 20 instead of MOBY DUR, which does not have the cupping problem, but cannot achieve quite as high a strength.
The addition of pigments slightly increases the water demand of the concrete. So you have to add a little more water to get the same flow properties as without pigment. However, with this type of high-strength concrete, you have to be very restrained with water and the amount of water should not deviate much from the recommended amount of water according to the data sheet. The best way to fine-tune the amount of water is to take a sample from the mixer after mixing and check its flow properties. If it does not flow well enough, add a few more grams of water, mix again briefly and then check again.

Hallo maybeyes,
